Job Description:The Global Financial Crimes Investigator performs end-to-end investigations or investigations support functions of external financial crimes activities across one or more lines of business relevant to the Investigators specific area of responsibility. Financial Crimes Investigators for Ops team responsible for reviewing, analyzing and identifying indicators of potential money laundering, terrorist financing activity, fraud and elder abuse and financial exploitation from information sources such as surveillance / monitoring alerts, open source media reports and internal referrals.Responsibilities include concise documentation of financial crimes review results and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR-SF or SAR-DI) in accordance with US laws, the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act and/or state reporting to Adult Protective Services and local law enforcement. This position also requires the ability to apply knowledge of financial crimes requirements to the diverse businesses of a large financial institution that includes US and international banking services and an institutional and retail broker/dealer.Required Skills and Qualifications: Must have ~3-5 years of experience writing SARs for AML cases at a major bank.Knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of regulatory/compliance risk management and financial crimes related requirementsAbility to complete 3 cases per day, stemming from complex, high volume caseloadNeeds to be an expert within AML investigations, working simple to complex AML cases with multiple entities involved.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
